Join me and yoga teacher Jane Morgan Jones for a transformational personal development, yoga and meditation holiday at Spectrum, near Dalyan, in beautiful southern Turkey on October 7-14, 2019. We’ll explore how to love ourselves, love our bodies, create lives that we truly love, and how to fall in love and/or stay in love. This time, we’re adding sunshine, yoga, Turkish culture, and crystal clear waters.

The retreat draws on the steps in my book, How to Fall in Love – a 10-Step Journey to the Heartdescribed by Psychologies magazine editor Suzy Walker as “a wonderful handbook on relationships, which requires you to be brave, dig deep and face your fears about falling in love.”

Some of the topics we’ll cover include self-love, self-care, self-esteem and self-confidence; how to identify unhealthy relationship patterns and change those patterns; how to let go of anything or anybody that’s blocking us from having a beautiful relationship with ourselves and with another; how to set healthy and loving boundaries for ourselves and with others; how to identify and follow our dreams; and how to live wholeheartedly, courageously and authentically.

The wonderful Jane Morgan Jones will lead us in Zen yoga, a dynamic yet gentle form of exercise that incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and self-compassion, and supports the personal growth and self-discovery work we’ll be doing.

Our venue

Our venue is a gorgeous retreat centre called Spectrum set over six acres of land near the coast and with incredible views of the nearby mountains. Our private villa, Villa Cabrece, is a 20-minute walk away from the laid-back riverside town of Dalyan, which has a fantastic beach, fascinating wildlife and the majestic remains of an ancient Roman city, as well as shops, a bustling local market and Turkish baths. We’re also just a river taxi ride or drive away from a stunning sandbank, known as Iztuzu Beach, home to the famous loggerhead turtle nesting grounds.

Villa Cabrece has a large outdoor salt-water swimming pool, a sauna, a dedicated yoga shala, a shady tree house, hammocks and a library.

All rooms surround the swimming pool and have mountain views and en suite facilities. Single rooms open directly on to the pool on the ground floor, while most of the twin/double rooms are upstairs. There’s also a twin on the ground floor and a larger double/twin in a separate building just steps away from the pool.


Our friendly chefs at Villa Cabrece prepare delicious traditional Turkish food, using produce that’s mostly homegrown or bought from local organic market gardeners. Meals are vegetarian and dinners have four courses. Your package includes seven breakfasts and six evening meals (five at Spectrum and one on a boat). Breakfast is substantial (think brunch) but if you require lunch, there are plenty of low-cost tasty options at the villa or in town. On one day, we’ll lunch on a boat and we’ll dine out one evening at a local restaurant.

Boat trips

We will take two boat trips with Volkan’s Adventures:
The 12 Islands Sailing Trip – We’ll explore the turquoise coastline against a backdrop of towering mountains and swim in secluded coves. Sunbathe on the boat or relax under its shady canopies. Enjoy a delicious lunch.
Noon to Moon Cruise – We’ll visit hot springs by candle light, swim in Candir Lake, enjoy a BBQ on Iztuzu Beach and gaze at the stars.

About Katherine

Katherine is a love, dating and relationships coach, a midlife mentor, the author of How to Fall in Love – a 10-Step Journey to the Heart and the creator of How to Fall in Love workshops, courses and retreats. Her goal is to help people to love themselves, love their lives and form healthy and loving relationships. Katherine leads from the heart, with honesty and vulnerability. Jane practises Zen yoga, which is a dynamic yet gentle form of exercise that incorporates mindfulness and meditation. Jane aims to help people heal their minds and bodies through the practise of Zen yoga, teaching compassion towards themselves, others and nature. Jane has spent the last 30 years studying various spiritual disciplines and applies these unique teachings to her lessons. Jane is also an experienced choreographer and a 3rd Dan Black Belt Martial Arts Instructor (4 times British Karate Champion and World Championship Silver Medalist).
