Sunday 12th April 1.30pm to 5pm.
The Workshop, Launceston Farm, Tarrant Launceston, Blandford DT118BY.
If you are curious about aerial yoga, this workshop is the perfect place to begin.
Guided by two experienced senior yoga teachers, you’ll be introduced to the Trapeze/Aerial hammock in a supportive and safe environment. Starting gently from the ground, you’ll gradually explore a range of movements and optional inversions at your own pace, with clear guidance throughout.
This beginner-friendly workshop will teach you the foundational techniques needed to use the hammock confidently and comfortably. You’ll learn helpful tips, alignment principles, and safe movement patterns while discovering the unique feeling and benefits of supported suspension and inversion work.
The Trapeze/Aerial hammock combines elements of yoga, mobility, strength training, and relaxation, offering a playful and uplifting experience for body and mind.
Benefits include:
Gentle spinal decompression and release of tension
Improved circulation and increased oxygen flow
Greater mobility, flexibility, and core strength
Support for deeper stretches and backbends
Enhanced balance, body awareness, and coordination
A sense of lightness, relaxation, and fun
No previous aerial yoga experience is needed, and all movements can be adapted to suit your comfort level.
We’ll close the workshop with a deeply restful Cocoon Nidra Meditation, followed by tea, coffee, and cake.
