Between Earth & Sky Yoga & Sound Retreat Day | Sat 11 Apr 2026 10.30am to 4.30pm

Sat 11 Apr 2026 10:30am to 4:30pm – The Retreat New Forest Lyndhurst Road, Hinton Christchurch BH23 7EF

A day of Somatic & Zen Yoga, Qi Gong, Yin, Sound & Creative Practice

10:15 | Arrival — Gentle Landing A soft welcome into the space. Settle in and arrive gently.

10:30–11:45 | Somatic Yoga with Zen Fusion — Listening to the Body (Earth) A slow, floor-based Zen Fusion somatic practice inviting you to ground, soften, and attune. Healing and restorative, it gently reprograms the nervous system and muscles, releasing tension and promoting balance. Move with sensation as the body leads and awareness settles into safety and presence.

11:45–12:00 | Break

12:00–1:15 | Creative Practice — Listening Through Intuitive Art Between earth and sky, spring arrives as a quiet turning — a soft lift of energy, a sense of something beginning again. Tune into what’s present and let it speak through drawing, collage, or mandala-making. Explore what is stirring, ready to be nourished, and what wants to be released. No artistic experience needed — allow colour, shape, and symbol to reflect your inner landscape.

1:15–2:15 | Lunch A relaxed, mindful pause for nourishment. Optional gentle walk or quiet rest. Informal connection welcome. Please bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee, and a sweet treat will be provided.

2:15–3:15 | Qi Gong → Yin — Awakening & Rooting Spring Energy Short, flowing Qi Gong awakens circulation and spring energy, transitioning into longer Yin postures to soften, root, and integrate. Themes: Spiral & side-body opening, Liver & Gallbladder meridians, Allowing rather than forcing.

3:15–4:00 | Sound Bath — Integration & Deep Listening Rest, held between earth and sky, letting everything you’ve moved, felt, and created settle. Gentle waves of sound — singing bowls, chimes, and soft drumming — support longer exhales, nervous-system settling, and spacious quiet. Pockets of silence allow integration, leaving you rooted, open, and renewed.

4:00–4:20 | Closing Circle A gentle completion with optional sharing, a final collective breath, and a soft closing to the day.
