Journey Through The Elements Yoga Day Retreat Sunday 8th September

Embark on a transformative journey inspired by the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. Each element represents different aspects of life, from grounding and stability to movement and expansion. Throughout the day, you will engage in yoga practices, meditations, and activities that will connect you with each element, fostering balance, harmony, and inner exploration.

  1. Earth: Grounding breath work, Zen yoga and earth-focused mindfulness practices to cultivate stability and rootedness.
  2. Water: Gentle flowing vinyasa sequences, and water-inspired meditations to evoke fluidity, adaptability, and emotional release.
  3. Fire: Dynamic and energising yoga poses to ignite the inner fire,  to tap into passion, drive, and transformation.
  4. Nutritious Plant Based Lunch 1pm to 2.30pm
  5. Air: Pranayama breath work to connect with the air element to promote expansiveness and mental clarity and health.
  6. Space: Deeply restorative and healing Yin Yoga, exploring inner space, leading into Nidra meditation also known as psychic sleep to experience the vastness and interconnectedness of all things.

By immersing yourself in these elemental practices, you can deepen your yoga practice, reconnect with nature, and journey inward to discover new insights and perspectives.

Aerial and Trapeze Yoga Workshop suitable for improvers.

This workshop is suitable for those who have had previous experience of aerial yoga and are competent with inversions , It is not for the complete beginner. You will learn flips and tricks and consolidate your practice to take it to the next level safely with the guidance of two experienced yoga teachers. Tone your body , regenerate and strengthen your joints and have fun in this lovely workshop.

We will end this workshop with an amazing Cocoon Nidra Meditation.

If you have always wanted to try aerial yoga then this is the workshop for you .

You will be safely guided by two senior yoga teachers progressing from the ground to

hanging upside down, working as gently as you need at your pace .

You will learn the essential actions and movements to safely get into the Trapeze/Aerial discuss tips and tricks for greater success, so you feel confident,

while helping your body understand the mechanics and benefits of hanging upside down.

Using the Trapeze/Aerial you get the benefits of both normal yoga and inversion therapy. The combination of exercises is literally endless.

More benefits of the Trapeze/Aerial are that you can decompress your spine and relieve pressure on those delicate disks between your vertebrae,

increasing blood flow, oxygen to your brain and other vital organs while detoxing your lymphatic system.

Beyond the health benefits, the inversion Trapeze/Aerial also assists you in deeper positions such as back bends,

helping build a strong core and elongating your muscles at the same time.

You will also build strength and flexibility, have fun and feel great!!

We will end this workshop with an amazing Cocoon Nidra Meditation.

New Year Yoga Day Retreat Embrace Renewal and Intention Sun 12 Jan 2025 10:30am to 5:00pm

  Start the new year with a rejuvenating and reflective yoga day retreat at the Retreat New Forest Lyndhurst Road, Hinton BH237EF focused on setting intentions for the year ahead. This immersive experience will blend yoga, meditation, journaling, and nourishing food to support both body and mind. You’ll leave feeling centered, refreshed, and clear on your path forward.

Morning Session:

  • 10.30 – 11 am Opening Circle & Intention Setting (30 minutes): Begin the day with a welcoming circle, where participants set their intentions for the new year. This guided practice will invite reflection on what you want to cultivate and release, creating a mindful foundation for the day.
  • 11.am – 12.30am Breathwork & Vinyasa Flow (90 minutes): Dive into an invigorating Vinyasa flow class, combined with mindful breathwork to energize the body and mind. This dynamic practice will focus on releasing old energy, opening up space for new possibilities, and aligning with your intentions.

Plant-Based Lunch 12.30 -2pm

  • Enjoy a nourishing, delicious plant-based lunch. The meal will be crafted to energize and support your body, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Participants will have time to connect with one another or enjoy a peaceful break in nature.

Afternoon Session:

  • 2pm – 2.45pm Journaling & Reflection. After lunch, settle into a journaling session. Guided prompts will help you explore your intentions on a deeper level, allowing you to articulate your goals, dreams, and reflections from the morning practice. This is an opportunity to gain clarity and focus for the new year.
  • 3pm – 4pm Yin Yoga  . Transition into a restorative Yin yoga practice to gently stretch and release tension in the deeper layers of the body. This slower-paced practice encourages mindfulness and presence, helping you to integrate the insights from your journaling session.
  • 4.15pm – 5 pm Yoga Nidra  Conclude the day with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra session. This guided meditation will lead you into a state of profound rest, supporting mental clarity and integrating the intentions you’ve set throughout the day. You’ll emerge from this experience feeling fully restored, grounded, and ready to move forward with purpose.

This retreat is open to beginners or the more practised yogi and is designed to offer balance—a blend of movement, stillness, reflection, and nourishment, creating a powerful foundation for the year ahead. Leave with a sense of renewal, intention, and calm as you step into the new year.
