A summer yoga retreat in Occitanie France 6th -12th June 2027

The Gentle Reset
A Summer Yoga Retreat in Occitanie France

6th–12th June 2027 · 6 nights, 7 days

A deeply nourishing blend of Zen-inspired practice, Somatic movement, Yin yoga, Qi Gong, and Nidra meditation. This integrated approach is designed to calm the nervous system, release physical and emotional tension, and cultivate a sense of balance, presence, and deep rest.

Set in the heart of the South of France, this retreat takes place at Mas de la Rivoire — a beautifully restored former winemaker’s farm dating back to the 14th century. Perched above the village of Villevieille in the Gard, and just moments from the historic town of Sommières, the setting offers both seclusion and easy access to the region’s rich culture.

Surrounded by four hectares of peaceful land, with its own natural spring, the Mas blends rustic charm with understated comfort. Guests stay in elegant double rooms or spacious apartments within the historic buildings, each accessed via stone steps from a sun-warmed courtyard.

At the heart of the property is La Voûte — a striking vaulted cellar with an open fireplace, offering a beautiful communal space to gather, rest, and unwind. There is also a dedicated movement studio, a treatment room, and quiet corners throughout the grounds for rest and reflection.

Outdoors, a stone-built swimming pool sits within Mediterranean gardens, framed by olive trees, lavender, thyme, and wild rosemary. Beyond the grounds, the landscape opens into vineyards, truffle oak forests, and rolling countryside — a place that naturally invites you to slow down.

Though deeply peaceful, the Mas is ideally located for exploration. Within easy reach are some of southern France’s most iconic sites, including the Pont du Gard, the historic city of Avignon, and the Roman heritage of Nîmes. The wild landscapes of the Camargue and Cévennes, as well as the vibrant city of Montpellier, are all within a short drive. The Mediterranean coastline is also close by, with beaches such as Palavas-les-Flots, La Grande-Motte, and Le Grau-du-Roijust 30 minutes away.

This is a space to step away from the pace of everyday life — to rest, restore, and return to yourself, gently.
